National Thank You Day Awards

Nominees

1. All nominees must be a Filipino citizen, either by birth or naturalization.
2. All nominees must be alive or living in the last 5 years.
3. All nominees must have had an impact in the lives of Filipinos and/or the Philippines, whether social, economic, or political.

Presenter/Voter

1. All Filipinos of legal age can nominate and vote.
2. Entries must feature the one person who you think we, as a nation, should thank. Entries must contain the following:
a. Name of nominee
b. Photo of nominee
c. Reason for nominating the person
d. Name of the nominator
3. Participants may nominate and vote only once (1 email address = 1 nomination and 1 vote).
4. The call for entries is on September 7, 2009.
5. Duration of nomination and voting is from September 7, 2009 to October 16, 2009, 5:00PM.
6. Entries must be submitted online through www.thankyoudayphilippines.com.
7. The National Thank You Day website will contain details of all nominees for public viewing.
8. The total number of votes will comprise 50% of the criteria in determining the winner. The remaining 50% will be determined by the National Thank You Day Council.
9. Upon submission, Kraft Foods (Philippines), Inc. (“Sponsor”) reserves the right to use all entries along with its components and may be used for promotional, publicity, and advertising purposes with or without the consent of the sender.
10. The Sponsor will not be held liable for any expenses incurred by all participants with regard to the promo.
11. Announcement of the winner will be on October 20, 2009 via an event, the National Thank You Day Awards.
12. The winner will be announced through blog postings, website announcements, in-store collaterals and will be published in the top broadsheets.
13. All employees of Kraft Foods (Philippines), Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, alliance partners, advertising, promotions and third party agencies, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity and affinity are disqualified from joining the promotion.
14. The Sponsor, its affiliates and subsidiaries shall not be liable to the participants in contract, tort or negligence or otherwise for any loss, damage, costs or expense of any nature whatsoever incurred or suffered by the participant and which is of indirect or inconsequential nature, including without limitation any economic loss or other loss.
15. Any and all opinions expressed by the presenters and voters do not in any way express or reflect the position or opinion of Kraft Foods (Philippines), Inc.

Criteria for Judging:

1. The winner will be determined by the following:
a. 50% - public voting
b. 50% - National Thank You Day Council
2. The National Thank You Day Council will be comprised of the following:
a. 2 representatives from Kraft Foods (Philippines), Inc.
b. 1 representative from GeiserMaclang Marketing Communications, Inc.

Prizes:

1. The awardee for the National Thank You Day will receive:
a. Plaque of Recognition
b. Gift pack from Kraft Foods (Philippines), Inc.
2. The presenter for the awardee will also receive a gift pack from Kraft Foods (Philippines), Inc.
